Well, they continue to do so, as they participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Hallmark’s Heartwarming Holiday Countdown float.

Dressed to impress and excite the audience for the upcoming Christmas, Dan + Shay sang “It’s Officially Christmas.” Packed with classic harmonies and festive cheer, the singing duo happily rocked the streets of New York City. All in all it was a real holiday treat.

Dan + Shay is one of the most decorated country music duos to grace the Macy’s Day Parade. With two CMA Awards, four ACM Awards, two PCCA Awards and 13 billion streams worldwide. It’s no surprise that the duo returned to Thanksgiving’s biggest event. Back in 2014, they appeared on Gibson’s “It’s All Rock & Roll” float and performed their hit single “Show You Off.”

Recently Dan + Shay spoke to Pure country radio and talked about their latest Christmas album and the inspiration behind it. “It was January, it was snowing here in Nashville, I went to Dan’s house and we ended up writing a Christmas song” and “That was the first domino in the making of this Christmas album,” Shay said.

He added: “This Christmas album will live on for the rest of our lives” and “This is one of those legacies that we are very, very proud of.” “I hope that now you know children who are about five years old and are here in like ten years, like you know this is the album they’re listening to” and “You know they grew up with this and this is the dream. “Shay concluded.
