The Spurs defeated the Kings 116-96 on Nov. 11 at the Frost Bank Center thanks to dominant shooting from Victor Wembanyama and solid defense. Tonight they’re at the Golden 1 Center in California for the first game of a two-game road trip that culminates Tuesday in Phoenix, where the Spurs could secure a spot in the NBA Cup knockout tournament with a win. But before they play the Suns, the Spurs have to take care of business against the Suns.

The Spurs’ roster is almost complete, with only the services of Jeremy Sochan missing, who may return for Tuesday night’s NBA Cup game. The dynamic backcourt duo of De’Aaron Fox and Demar DeRozan represent a tough matchup for the Silver and Black, but Stephon Castle, still in the starting lineup, should slow them down enough to give the Spurs a chance give the win tonight. Devin Vassell is slowly getting back into form and is hoping for a strong performance tonight.

Match prediction:

Domantas Sabonis will lose his confidence after Victor blocked three of his shots and will have to see a sports psychiatrist after the game.

One last word:

Go Spurs GOOOOOO!!
