The Jaguars fired Doug Pederson, the team’s 2022-24 head coach, on Monday, January 6. Owner Shad Khan said later in the day the search for a new head coach had already begun, adding: “I’m excited about what’s possible with everything we have to offer our new head coach.”

General manager Trent Baalke added: “We will do our due diligence and be very thorough in this process.”
