Jason Statham searches for a missing teenager in the film

In the trailer for the thriller, Jason Statham is looking for a missing teenager A working man.

The action film from director David Ayer is scheduled to hit theaters on March 28th at Amazon MGM Studios. Rounding out the cast are Michael Peña, David Harbour, Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Maximilian Osinski, Cokey Falkow, Noemi Gonzalez, Arianna Rivas, Emmett J. Scanlan and Eve Mauro.

A working man The focus is on Levon Cade (Statham), a former black ops agent who has turned to a simpler life as a construction worker. When his boss’s daughter disappears, Levon’s mission to find her plunges into a world of corruption.

“This isn’t just any kidnapping,” Statham says in the trailer. “This is human trafficking.” He later explains: “Gangs, the mob, corrupt government officials – they are all involved in human trafficking.”

At one point, Levon’s friend, played by Harbour, expresses his own assessment: “You killed your way there. You’re going to have to kill your way out of there.”

Ayer directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Sylvester Stallone and based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s trade. Statham, Ayer, Stallone, Chris Long, John Friedberg, Bill Block and Kevin King Templeton serve as producers.

Statham and Ayer had already worked together on the thriller film last year The beekeeperwhich surpassed the $150 million mark at the worldwide box office.

Ayer’s other previous features include: Suicide Squadand the filmmaker has recently been vocal on social media about pushing for the release of his own cut of the 2016 Warner Bros. title.
