Jennifer Hudson and Common have a successful relationship that began quietly in 2022 when they began working on the film Breathe together.

The couple made their romance official To The Jennifer Hudson Show already in Januaryand have not shied away from showering their love on each other ever since, be it on social media or in declarations of love on air.

They most recently showed their appreciation for each other through their music, with Common, 52, collaborating with his 43-year-old girlfriend debut holiday album, The gift of love.

In fact, he showed up in grand style to celebrate her first-ever holiday tour for the record, gifting her a bouquet of 100 roses ahead of her show in Brooklyn, New York, last weekend.

Appears on the Show todaythe talk show host and American Idol alum spoke fondly about her boyfriend and described what their relationship dynamic can actually be like.

She described working with her partner as “on the one hand much more pleasant” and added: “I can just learn from him, he’s a hip-hop legend.” agrees that he is “such a good guy.”

“I did!” Jennifer declared, giggling defiantly. “I always tell him, ‘You’ve always been a legend in my eyes.’ He’s from Chicago, I’m from Chicago. So it’s like…usual!”
