This wasn’t like “Fantastic Four” their marriage.

Jessica Alba confessed that she and her now-estranged husband Cash Warren were more like “roommates” years before news of their divorce shocked fans on Wednesday.

The “Good Luck Chuck” actress made a revealing comment about her relationship on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Instagram show “Before, During and After Baby” in July 2021.

“Everything has been rosy for two and a half years. But after that you become roommates,” Alba explained in the video.

“They’re just going through the motions,” she added. “You have the responsibility. It’s all about ticking the boxes, so to speak, right?”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the Dark Angel alum admitted she often took their relationship for granted.

“We obviously have the friendship, the comfort of ‘You’re not going anywhere,’ and so sometimes you don’t treat these people very well, right?” Alba said.

“You don’t consider their feelings the way you would consider other people’s feelings,” she continued. “So that’s something that I think needs to be continually worked on.”

She shared that the duo tried to resolve their issues by “addressing issues” and “being able to communicate when they are unhappy.”

Alba, 43, and the film producer, 45, recently separated and plan to divorce after nearly 17 years of marriage, a source told TMZ on Wednesday.

It was not immediately clear why the couple decided to end things, and their representatives did not respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The current ex-partners are parents of three children: daughters Honor (16) and Haven (13) and seven-year-old son Hayes.

The family of five just celebrated Thanksgiving with a wonderful getaway to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last November.

Alba also shared a sweet family photo from their Christmas celebrations together last month.

“Happy Holidays from our family to yours,” she captioned a group photo at the time.

Separation speculation began to bubble after Alba and Warren were spotted without wedding rings in recent weeks.

Alba and Warren met on the set of “Fantastic Four” in 2004 when she played the role of Susan Storm and he was the film’s assistant director.

They got engaged three years later and tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony in Beverly Hills, California in May 2008.
