Jim Harbaugh Chargers Ravens Week 12 Game Recap

The Chargers are down 7-4 The 30:23 defeat on Monday evening to the ravens.

Here are five takeaways from Week 12:

1. Harbaugh, Bolts move forward

The Bolts’ four-game winning streak ended Monday night.

Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh isn’t fazed one bit.

“We will regroup. They played better football than we did tonight,” Harbaugh said. “But more importantly, we know what kind of team we are and what we are capable of.”

Monday night’s game was the Chargers’ first loss in more than a month.

The showdown between the AFC’s postseason contenders also lived up to its billing, with Khalil Mack calling it “a caliber playoff game.”

But even though the Chargers took an early 10-0 lead, the Bolts couldn’t stay consistent enough against a well-positioned Baltimore team.

Offensively, the Chargers marched 70 yards for a touchdown on their first possession, but didn’t get back into the red zone until late in the fourth quarter.

And while the Bolts defense thwarted Lamar Jackson and Co. early on, the Ravens got rolling with 30 points in the final three quarters.

Daiyan Henley revealed Harbaugh’s message to the Chargers in the locker room after the game.

“Stay connected. It’s easy to stay connected after a win. We need to stay connected after falling short,” Henley said. “We know we have a long season ahead of us and this one game doesn’t define us. We’re trying to get beyond one game.”

Mack added: “The way I play football, I would like to play against this team again. I would like to do that. But what we put on film today wasn’t good enough.”

Despite the loss, the Bolts still have a good chance of making it to the AFC playoffs.

The Chargers have fallen to 6th place, but have won seven wins – two more than the Dolphins and Colts – and are also in the current head-to-head break against the Broncos.

“Keep fighting,” said Justin Herbert about the future prospects.

Derwin James, Jr. added, “The men in this locker room will respond.”

The Bolts are on the road against Atlanta in Week 13.
