JLab is introducing its first adaptive headphones with active noise cancellation at CES 2025

Audio brand JLab introduced its first headphones with adaptive active noise cancellation at CES 2025. The company’s Epic Lux Lab Edition wireless headphones will cost $199. Pre-orders begin today and delivery is expected from January 30th.

The Epic Lux Lab is an over-ear headphone set with custom 32mm high-fidelity dynamic drivers. The device’s adaptive ANC can respond to changes in ambient noise levels in real time. Noise cancellation mode can attenuate ambient noise by up to 42 dB, while Be Aware mode ensures that outside noise reaches the user. Both modes can be customized using the JLab app.

The headphones come with a magnetic wireless charging pad and also have a built-in USB-C port for wired charging. JLab says the Epic Lux Lab can deliver “over 90 hours of playtime on a single charge,” or 60 hours when active noise cancellation is used.

In addition to the Epic Lux Lab, JLab is also introducing an on-ear headset called Go Lux ANC Wireless at CES. This option offers hybrid active noise cancellation of up to 30 dB as well as a Be-Aware mode. The Go Lux ANC Wireless only supports wired charging via USB-C, but it lasts up to 70 hours depending on the use case. These entry-level headphones cost $50. As with the upscale variant, pre-orders are now open and the product is scheduled to ship on January 30th.
