Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow caused a stir on social media with his touchdown celebration in the fourth quarter of their thrilling game against the Denver Broncos.

Burrow scored a touchdown for the team, bringing the game to 23-17 with just over a minute left in the fourth quarter.

The quarterback celebrated the victory by hitting the griddy in the end zone, which endeared his teammate Ja’Marr Chase throughout the league.

“I was holding the ball and looked at Ja’Marr, he shrugged and said, ‘What are you doing?’ and I just started doing it, I don’t know, we looked at each other and I just started doing it,” Burrow said after the game.

“Have you ever practiced this with him?” a reporter asked.

“I don’t think I ever did,” Burrow said.

The Bengals kept their playoff hopes alive for another week, defeating the Broncos 30-24 in overtime at Paycor Stadium.

Saturday’s wild game went into overtime after a clutch touchdown throw by Broncos quarterback Bo Nix tied the score at 24 with eight seconds left.

With the win, the Bengals must beat Pittsburgh in Week 18, while the Broncos, Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins must lose again for Cincinnati to secure a spot in the AFC field.
