Joe Burrow shares update on knee injury following Bengals’ win over Cowboys

CINCINNATI – Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a left knee injury in the fourth quarter of Cincinnati’s 27-20 win over Dallas on Monday night.

The 28-year-old completed 33 of 44 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns, including a game-winning 40-yard strike to Ja’Marr Chase with 1:01 to play.

Burrow suffered a left knee injury when he was sacked in the fourth quarter. No penalty was given, although his face mask was grabbed and yanked back.

Burrow never left the game, but he did pull a sleeve over his left knee.

“It’s nothing crazy. I only landed on it a couple of times,” Burrow said. “Probably just a bursa or something. We’ll see. It’s going to hurt for a while, but I’m fine… I was fine, just a little swollen.”

Burrow was limping after the game. He said he wasn’t worried about a long-term injury.
