Nothing says we’re serious about the playoffs like chewing a cigar in the locker room after a win in the AFC wild-card round.

And nothing says we’re focused on the task at hand like calling out an ESPN analyst like Rex Ryan, who would love to coach the Jets again, on an Instagram live stream.

On the other hand, Joe Mixon has good reason to celebrate.

“We’re smoking on this Rex Ryan Bye Week pack,” the running back told his social media followers while puffing on a cigar following his Texans’ 32-12 win over the Chargers on Saturday night.

Mixon — who finished the contest with 119 all-purpose yards and a touchdown — clearly took the former Jets and Bills head coach’s comments to heart during an appearance on ESPN’s morning show “Get Up” earlier this week.

“Chargers basically…I never realized they got a bye on Saturday. Oh wait, they have to play (the Texans). “What’s the difference?” Ryan had said.

When Mixon was asked earlier this week what he thought of these comments, he replied, “I’m just here to let my helmet and shoulder pads speak for themselves… I’m not going to comment.”

However, a big playoff win and a little nicotine were enough to get the commentary going.

Even though Ryan didn’t pick his winner correctly, it seems like he made the right decision when he compared Saturday’s contest to a bye.

Rams quarterback Justin Herbert seemed unprepared to play four quarters of football, throwing four interceptions and just one touchdown, a career best.

Houston’s defense applied heavy pressure throughout the game, sacking Herbert four times and limiting the Chargers’ typically potent ground offense to just 50 yards.

Los Angeles mustered just 12 points — a far cry from their season average of 23.6 — and gained just 261 all-purpose yards to the Texans’ 429 yards.

CJ Stroud struggled out of the net but found his form midway through the second quarter.

By the end of the game, Stroud had scored a touchdown and 282 yards through the air and another 42 yards on the ground.
