Joey Graziadei and partners Jenna Johnson meanwhile took home the Mirrorball Trophy Dancing with the stars Season 33 finale aired on Tuesday, November 26th – making it the first Bachelor to ever take home the title.

Throughout the evening, the final five couples each performed two dances – a release dance and a free dance. Each couple’s redemption dance was in a style chosen by one of the judges.

Stephen Nedoroscik went first, with a quickstep to “I’ll Be There for You” by the Rembrandts, which received high praise from Carrie Ann Inaba Who said that late? Len Goodman would have been “smiling from ear to ear” after watching her routine. Next, Joey performed a cha-cha release dance and Bruno Tonioli compared the former Bachelor Star for a professional dancer after his performance.

When it was time Danny AmendolaTo redeem himself, he was tasked with a tango. However, he only received nines from the judges. Amendola urged spectators to “buckle up” for her upcoming routine. Ilona Maher‘s Redemption Jive, which, according to Derek, was “so much better” than their first attempt. The redemption round ended with Chandler Kinneyis electric jive.

Then it was time for the freestyle exercises, which were mentioned several times, to be the difference between a participant’s success or failure. Some of the stars decided to show their best in freestyle. Stephen chose gymnastics while Joey focused his final dance on tennis. Ilona even had a little homage to rugby in her program.

Meanwhile, Danny channeled his inner Ken for an “I’m just Ken” routine. Chandler took a more sentimental route with her partner Brandon Armstrong – the first all-black couple to ever make it DWTS Finale – recognized the black artists who came before them.
