Jon Hamm responds to Andy Cohen calling him the “male Nicole Kidman” during New Year’s Eve special

Andy Cohen believes Nicole Kidman will have new competition in 2025.

During CNN’s New Year’s Eve live with Andy Cohen and Anderson CooperThe two co-hosts Jon Hamm joined him for a segment in which Cohen told the actor that he was now the “male Nicole Kidman” because of his numerous projects this year.

Cohen asked Hamm, “Do you think that as an actor you should share a little more?”

“Listen, I’m climaxing, Kidman, I think you called it. I love it. That’s all I can do. I love working. I can work on great things and yeah, why not me? I agree with “yes, more me,” that mad Men Star replied.

Cooper also chimed in, adding, “Why not? I agree. I want more Jon Hamm.”

Hamm has released a long list of projects this year including Countryman, Unfrozen, The Morning Show, Mean Girls, Fargo, Grimsburg, Transformers One and more.

While Kidman is known for regularly directing several films and television shows. Her recent credits include: Baby girl, expats, The perfect couple And A family affair, among other things.

Cohen also pointed out that 2025 will mark the 10th anniversary of mad Menis the finale.

“Of course it’s the best thing I’ve ever done in my career,” said Hamm. “I think what really impresses me is that new generations are now discovering the show.”

Hamm went on to say that he was “particularly” grateful to the fans in Chicago, where there is a “huge advertising following.”

“30-year-olds come up to me and say, ‘Oh my God, I love this show,'” he said. “I thought, ‘You were ten when it came out. What are you talking about?’ But it’s impressive and of course it’s something I’m incredibly proud of.”
