Jordon Hudson’s cheeky message to Bill Belichick’s North Carolina hiring

Bill Belichick isn’t the only one excited about his move to Chapel Hill.

His girlfriend Jordon Hudson expressed her own joy at her boyfriend’s new job as head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The 24-year-old former cheerleader shared a picture on social media Wednesday of the announcement that Belichick would be taking the head coaching job at UNC.

“We’re on Chapel Hill!!!” she wrote at the end of her Instagram Story, alluding to Belichick’s “We’re on the way to Cincinnati” press conference a decade ago.

UNC officially announced Wednesday night that they have signed the six-time Super Bowl champion for the next five years.

“I am excited about the opportunity at UNC-Chapel Hill,” Belichick said in a statement. “I grew up around college football with my dad and really valued that time. I have always wanted to coach in college and now I am excited to build the football program at Chapel Hill.”

This is the first time in Belichick’s 49-year coaching career that he has patrolled the sidelines of a college program.

He led the Patriots for 24 seasons and won six Super Bowl titles before the two teams parted ways after last season.

Hudson and Belichick made headlines in June over their relationship, which has a 48-year age gap between the two.

The couple made their first major red carpet appearance last week at the Museum Gala at the American Museum of Natural History on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
