Since its release in 2006, The Holiday has been a firm Christmas movie favorite.

And while Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black have remained major Hollywood stars over the past 18 years, other actors have continued their lives away from the spotlight.

Miffy Englefield, from West Sussex, was just six years old when she played Jude’s character Graham’s eldest child Sophie.

Now the former child star looks unrecognizable and has given up her acting career to focus on being a mother to her four-year-old daughter Frankie.

Miffy’s natural ginger hair is now jet black and partially shaved and she has numerous tattoos and body modifications.

The mother of one appears to work as a model and describes herself on her Instagram: “Short, loud and mostly ridiculous.” Hot mom. Always overdressed. “All Grown Up.”

“I’m a mother now, I have a three-year-old.” I feel like that’s the biggest change. “I have a fantastic daughter,” Miffy told MailOnline (pictured replica of Amanda Wood’s iconic photo)

Miffy told MailOnline last year: “I think I’ve changed quite a bit since I was six, I think a lot of people have, but especially me. “It wasn’t until I started doing TikTok that I got recognized.

“I’m a mother now, I have a three-year-old.” I feel like that’s the biggest change. “I have a fantastic daughter and am lucky enough to be able to stay at home with her until she starts school, which is really not far away.”

She laughed: “Remembering that makes me feel very, very old.”

Now she’s found fame in new ways as a content creator on TikTok, where she has 74,000 followers – the child star makes videos with her partner Alex Whivley-Conway and their little girl Frankie.

Miffy began her TikTok journey during the pandemic, which she described as a “really strange time” to have a child.

She explained: “I live quite far away from the rest of my family so I’ve been quite isolated. “These days I’m really into fashion and stuff and I just decided I’m going to start making little videos and go from there it just grew.

“I would talk a little bit about the holidays there and I do a lot of second hand shopping and stuff like that. “It was great, I met so many nice people through it and I love it, I love posting there.”

“I was a pretty unusual six-year-old. I was very outlandish and cocky, I think that’s the best way to describe it.

At the time she “didn’t really understand the speed” of what she was doing – for the youngster it was another “excuse to perform”.

She added: “But it was very surreal, you know, we came from quite poor backgrounds and lived in a council house.”

“It was very, very different from the life my father and I knew, and being on a film set was very surreal.”

Recalling filming alongside stars like Jude and Cameron, she said: “It was beautiful.” I mean, I couldn’t have asked for better treatment and neither could my dad.

“We got along very, very well with everyone and they always made time for us, both off and on screen.”

Miffy described her on-screen father as “fantastic, funny and kind.”

She said: “I remember once on set we were telling each other tongue twisters for about half an hour and we just thought it was hilarious.”

“He was so patient with us and there was no separation between working and spending time with us – they didn’t have to do that at all, but they did.”

She concluded: “I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with it.” “It was easily my best experience on any film set.”

As a huge fan of Christmas, Miffy loves being part of the festive memories and experiences of people around the world.

She joked, “Oh, it’s so bizarre.” A few years ago, I was sent a photo of Khloe Kardashian observing the holiday. This is crazy, so ridiculous.

“I received a message on Instagram a few years ago from a woman who was getting married and who loved The Holiday so much that she and her partner had the poster from The Holiday recreated in their wedding book, The People Signed, which blew me away.

“It’s absolutely crazy.” My dad and I didn’t know how big the movie would be at home.

“So when news comes out 20 years later, which makes me incredibly old, that people look forward to it. “It’s like their Christmas tradition, they come home to their family and watch it.

“It amazes me, it’s absolutely crazy and I love it. “I love being a small part of people’s Christmas traditions. I think it’s so cute.’

Her daughter Frankie watched the film “as soon as she could talk,” and it has become a running joke in the family – although she hasn’t watched it herself in a few years, as she struggles with it as a child “poop” yourself.
