Cinema’s most famous dinosaurs return to the big screen Rebirth of Jurassic World next summer and director Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, The Creator) is in charge this time. The plan? In order to limit the spectacle a little with the many visual effects and return to the atmosphere of the original Jurassic Parkwhich Edward elaborates on in a new chat with Entertainment Weekly.

Additionally, the outlet shared four brand new images from the coming year Rebirth of Jurassic Worldintroduces us to the trio of main characters who bring a Jaw mood for the film.

Edwards tells EW: “For me it’s a huge love letter to Steven Spielberg and his previous films. There are moments in this film that are very memorable to me Jaw. They’re like little greatest hits of all the aspects of his films that I loved as a kid. Basically it’s a little adventure odyssey about this island, actually a survival story.”

The site goes on to describe in their own words: “Edwards compares the trio’s dynamic to that of Brody, Hooper and Quint.” Jawplayed in this 1975 Spielberg classic by Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw – different individuals hunting a prehistoric creature.”
