Kai Cenat and Ludwig give fan $100,000 for stream sniping in LA

Kai Cenat and Ludwig spent $100,000 on a stream sniping race when a fan tracked them both down in Los Angeles to win an impromptu competition.

As Kai Cenat’s Mafiaathon 2 continues, the wildly popular Twitch streamer is getting more creative and looking for ways to keep fans engaged during the month-long marathon. From huge celebrity appearances every other day to hilarious antics, everything was in full swing during the record-breaking run.

However, on the 25th day things got even more serious when Ludwig joined the broadcast for a huge competition. The idea was to “hide” the couple somewhere in Los Angeles and give fans a chance to track them down. Whoever found its location first would walk away $100,000 richer. Of course, there was a clever twist to make things more interesting.

The broadcast began right in front of Kai Cenat’s face. With every 1,000 Twitch subscriptions received, the camera gradually zoomed out to slowly reveal their whereabouts. Barely two hours after launch, a stream sniper spotted it and secured the six-figure prize.

It turns out the fan is quite the celebrity himself. Manhattan Beach-area pop music producer Ljay Currie was the first to track down the streamers.

They split up with a group of friends and scattered across LA. “One of my buddies went to Santa Monica, one went to the observatory, I had one in West Hollywood,” he explained. After driving 40 minutes himself, he spotted a large production on a roof nearby and headed there.

Currie was “shocked” that he was the first to do it and couldn’t believe his luck. It turns out that Currie, who is already quite wealthy in his own right, isn’t just any producer, but is responsible for some of the biggest hip-hop tracks of the generation with artists like Drake, Lil Yachty and more. Look no further than “Money In The Grave,” which Ludwig couldn’t believe he simply “glossed over.”

Shortly after Currie accepted the $100,000 check, several other famous people showed up in second place. FaZe Lacy and StableRonaldo were just minutes away from winning the prize themselves. However, they all had to leave the venue pretty quickly as fans began to invade and crowd the building.

“We don’t want NYC 2,” said Kai Cenat before flying off in a helicopter to continue Mafiaathon 2 back home.
