Kai Cenat finally reveals when he will be streaming again after Mafiaathon 2’s break

Twitch star Kai Cenat took over the internet in November with his month-long broadcast of Mafiaathon 2. After a fifteen day break, he is finally making a comeback.

Kai Cenat has solidified himself as one of the biggest streamers of all time following Mafiaathon 2, his viral month-long subathon that featured top celebrities like Kodak Black, John Cena, Miranda Cosgrove, and even Snoop Dogg.

His efforts earned him three awards at the 2024 Streamer Awards and resulted in him breaking the world record for most Twitch subscribers, surpassing the previous record holder, Ironmouse, by more than half.

Since the stream ended on November 30th, Kai has been inactive – although he was spotted attending a random person’s wedding with the AMP squad in early December.

Kai Cenat’s viral Mafiaathon 2 stream cemented him as one of the GOATS – but he’s returning to Twitch after just a short break from broadcasting.

It makes sense for Kai to take an extended break after streaming for 30 days… but it turns out fans won’t have much longer to wait for his highly anticipated return.

On December 14th, the streamer finally announced when he would be returning to Twitch.

Kai Cenat will officially return to streaming on Sunday, December 15th2024, fifteen days after the end of Mafiaathon 2.

The broadcast begins at 8:00 p.m. EST – and given the over-the-top nature of his recent broadcasts, it’s anyone’s guess what will happen in his big Twitch comeback.

Kai’s announcement sparked equal parts excitement and surprise among fans, with one admitting they were expecting “a long break” from the streamer.

“Already?” asked another, while another fan said they “knew you couldn’t keep us away for long.”

Kai’s quick comeback is certainly unexpected, as the streamer admitted that he was suffering from a cold during the broadcast and was coughing up blood during his subathon.

Kai Cenat announced that he completed his 30-day subathon despite being sick enough to cough up blood.

He’s been streaming almost every minute of his life during this time, both awake and asleep – and it doesn’t look like he’s gotten much rest, if Miles Morales’ NPC features during his sleep are anything to go by.

Now Kai is returning to a normal structure, leaving fans excited to see what he plans for his next stream. Given that Elden Ring is getting a new standalone game, it could be that Kai is planning another viral marathon when it releases in 2025.
