Katy Perry’s new style certainly turned some heads when the singer hit the red carpet for iHeartRadio Q102’s 2024 Jingle Ball presented by Capital One on Monday, December 16.

The 40-year-old pop star wore a revealing sheer sleeveless red dress with a sequined bandeau top and matching wrap skirt, her jet black locks styled into beachy curls and a dark plum lip.

Katy has adopted a bolder look in her new album era, characterized by more form-fitting ensembles that show off her toned body, as well as the occasional darker glamour.

“Well, I hate working out. I actually do,” she told the crowd. “You know what I like to do, I love dancing, swimming and doing things that don’t feel like exercise.”

She also playfully addressed some of the speculation about her new, toned body, adding: I heard my biceps were circulating around the internet. So that’s a bit of my swimming, I have to say I’m a pretty good swimmer.

Katy will be on her way Lifelong tour in support of her new album and continued: “But seriously, it’s been a while since I’ve been on tour and by the time I go on tour it’ll be eight years. So actually I should probably go to the gym. The tour will be a dance party and everyone is invited.”

The plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomos also concluded all considerations about surgery for Katy and commented on it HELLO!: “This is pure weight loss, and sudden weight loss affects the face more than the body.”
