Kelly Reilly says goodbye to the series before the finale

As the clock ticks down to the final episode of Paramount Network’s “Yellowstone,” series star Kelly Reilly confirmed on Instagram Sunday that the Dec. 15 episode is indeed the main series finale.

“Hello, I’m so deep into another role at the moment involving another country worth fighting for in the UK,” Reilly wrote. “But across the pond the show’s finale is tonight. Whatever the future holds, this is the end of the show we’ve been making for the last seven years.”

Reilly went on to thank “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan and the entire cast and crew of the western drama.

“Words cannot express how I feel about the people I have had the privilege of working with and creating over the seasons,” Reilly added. “I made real friends for life. The support of the crew and the trust and commitment of the cast. The words I was allowed to say and the woman I was allowed to inhabit. It changed me. It enlightened me. It challenged me in every way and I will forever be grateful for it. For Taylor Sheridan for taking the risk and continuing to write her in a way that made me feel like I was on fire as an actress. Thanks, Taylor.”

Although this marks the end of the main series, Reilly will soon star alongside her on-screen husband Cole Hauser in a Yellowstone spin-off series based on their characters Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton. Sources confirmed diversity that the series is close to production.
