(CBS DETROIT) — Rapper Kendrick Lamar brings his Grand National Tour to Ford Field in Detroit in June 2025.

The 17-time Grammy winner will perform at the home of the Detroit Lions on June 10th. Artist SZA will open all shows on the tour.

Advance sales begin on Wednesday and the general public can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster starting at 10 a.m. Friday. Ticket prices have not been announced.

Lamar begins his Grand National Tour on April 19th in Minneapolis at US Bank Stadium and ends on June 18th in Landover, Maryland at Northwest Stadium. In total, Lamar will perform 21 stadium shows during the tour.

The Compton-born rapper was in one highly publicized feud She spent most of the year with fellow rapper Drake, highlighted by the release of his dissident track “Not Like Us” in May, which topped the Billboard charts and is nominated for five Grammys.

On November 22nd, Lamar released his sixth studio album, GNX, a tribute to the 1987 Buick Grand National Experimental. It is his first album since Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” from 2022.

Lamar’s Detroit show is the fourth show announced for Ford Field’s 2025 concert schedule. In November, rapper Post Malone announced that he would be taking his “Big Ass Stadium Tour” to Ford Field May 18th. Malone is accompanied by fellow rapper and country singer Jelly Roll. Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks are also teaming up for a show at Ford Field on March 29 and an Australian rock band AC/DC will perform on April 30th.

Lamar will do it Headlining the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.
