LEXINGTON – Kentucky basketball and Colgate have no history to speak of.

So the programs will arrive at Rupp Arena tonight when the Wildcats and Raiders meet for the first time.

At 8-1 this season, it’s already been an excellent start to the Mark Pope era for Great Britain. And Kentucky is ranked No. 5 in both the USA TODAY coaches poll and the Associated Press poll.

Colgate is at the other end of the spectrum.

The Raiders are 2-8 in 2024-25. They lost four in a row tonight. And they have dropped by 20 or more points in three games this season.

Although Great Britain has not yet played Colgate, it has already sent another Patriot League club this season. Kentucky defeated Bucknell 100-72 in Lexington last month.

Great Britain will be the big favorites again tonight.

Will the Wildcats handle their business and pick up their ninth win in 10 games?
