The Tennessee Titans continue to lose games in unsightly fashion.

Tennessee faltered with six turnovers and 12 penalties and lost 37-27 to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.

Will Levis was benched after throwing his third interception in the third quarter. Mason Rudolph came into the game and led two touchdown drives in the final quarter and a half, albeit in mop-up time.

Will Levis fumbles in Cincinnati territory

Scenario: Titans 14, Bengals 7 in the second quarter with Cincinnati securing a turnover

The Titans led 14-7 in the second quarter and had the ball in Cincinnati territory after T’Vondre Sweat recovered and returned a fumble. That was the end of the good mood.

What seemed like a planned run with a beleaguered quarterback turned out as expected. Will Levis’ third-down carry lost yardage on a Trey Hendrickson TFL, and Levis appeared to fumble. Cincinnati regained possession, although officials originally ruled Levis out for contact. The Bengals successfully appealed the ruling and got the ball.

Joe Burrow to Tee Higgins

Scenario: Bengals 21, Titans 14 in the second quarter after Joe Burrow’s third TD pass of the first half

Joe Burrow’s excellent first half was highlighted by a 38-yard touchdown pass to Tee Higgins with 1:12 left in the second quarter that gave Cincinnati the lead.

The Bengals’ touchdown drive was initiated by Levis’ first interception of the game. More will follow.
