Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard formed a united front on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet.

The Hollywood lovebirds, who have been married since 2013, posed for photos together on the carpet to celebrate Bell’s acting nomination for the hit Netflix series Nobody wants that.

The Veronica Mars The 44-year-old actress stunned in a strapless rose gold beaded bustier by Ashi Studio and a matching floor-length skirt. She wore her hair pulled back in a chic bun and accessorized with REZA jewelry.

At Bell’s side they Parenthood alum, who turned 50 on January 2, wore a classic black suit with a white button-down shirt and a black tie. He kept it casual with black and white checkered Vans and black sunglasses.

He spoke to PEOPLE in September Frozen The voice actress said she was drawn to the Netflix comedy because it is a “modern romantic comedy.”

“I love that the characters are what, 38? And that it addresses everything from the dangers of dating apps to what it actually means for people of different backgrounds and different outlooks on life to bridge those differences in the name of love,” Bell said. “It is a adult Romantic comedy.”

In addition to the love of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Shepard has also been positive about his wife’s performance – particularly the chemistry between Bell and her co-star Adam Brody.

“When he saw the first episode, he was like, ‘Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so bad,'” Bell said of Shepard in an interview with E! News.

“We saw this scene together, the kissing scene, which in my opinion is the best kissing scene ever filmed,” Shepard said of the experience during an appearance at the New York Festival, joking about it even though he and his wife are ” incredible chemistry” that isn’t as good as Bell and Brody.

Bell’s nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actress in a Television Series in the Musical or Comedy category is the second of her acting career. She received an award at the 2019 Golden Globes for her role in The good place but ultimately lost to Rachel Brosnahan’s acclaimed film The wonderful Mrs. Maisel Perfomance. While she didn’t take home a trophy this year, she did receive a handful of heart-shaped cards from her daughters, adorned with drawings from her parents and touching messages cheering on her mother, which she shared on her Instagram Stories.

“I love you mom and I love that you were nominated,” one of the notes reads.

Bell was pregnant with her first daughter, daughter Lincoln, and attended the awards show with Shepard in 2013 – flaunting her baby bump in a stunning lilac silk chiffon empire gown.

In 2017, Bell gave her Instagram followers an extensive behind-the-scenes look at her glamorous pre-award show session, which included face masks, butt pads, and even applying makeup to her cleavage. She even shared a glimpse into a Golden Globes afterparty she and Shepard attended, where they ditched the usual Hollywood debauchery and instead played a healthy game of Settlers of Catan.
