Kristin Cavallari got refreshingly candid about why the country singer she once dated “hurt her feelings”

Since Kristin Cavallari’s split from her ex-husband Jay Cutler in 2022, she has been nothing but an open book. Whether it’s opening up and jumping back into the dating pool or her recent experience with someone 13 years younger than her, Cavallari has shared it all with her fans. And she recently opened up about another relationship, this time with country star Morgan Wallen.

While chatting with Bunnie Xo in her Stupid blonde On the podcast, Cavallari talked about their relationship. “Morgan is a good guy,” she said in a teaser for the episode on TikTok. “He has a big heart, he really does.”

“He was a real gentleman on our first date,” recalls Cavallari, who shares children Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9, with Cutler. “He was like, ‘I’ll pick you up, I’ll pick the location and I’ll just take care of business.’ He came and picked me up, he met my kids, my kids were so excited. It was so sweet.”

The date also ended on a high note. “He dropped me off, he kissed me in the rain and it was the most beautiful thing, and we hung out afterward,” she said.

But while the two continued to “hang out” after the first date, Cavallari admitted that their affair “also had its ups and downs.”

Bunnie then referenced the video in which Cavallari confirmed their relationship. In it, her boyfriend Justin Anderson claimed that the “Whiskey Glasses” singer “hurt her feelings.”

“He didn’t hurt my feelings,” she clarified. “I’ll be honest with you, Morgan was the first man in my love life who wasn’t just completely in love with me… and I thought, ‘What the hell is going on?’ It really blew me away.”

The two then agreed that his attitude was probably due to his misogynistic nature. “He’s been with every woman on the planet,” they agreed.

“I love having the upper hand, and I feel like I didn’t have the upper hand with him,” Cavallari admitted. “The only time in my life.”

Although things didn’t work out between them, Cavallari said she “only has good things to say about him.” “He’s a great buddy,” she interjected. “He was good in bed.”

Before her confessions about Wallen, Cavallari was open about her split from Mark Estes in October.

“Just through life experience, I started to feel the age a little bit,” Cavallari admitted in her Let’s be honest Podcast, per Us weekly. As a reminder, while Cavallari is 37 years old, Estes was only 24 years old.

“I look back at the time when I was 24 and how much happened for me in between,” she needed. “These are crucial years. These are formative years. This is when you find yourself. He has to be able to do that.”
