When asked how her dating life has been going, Cavallari confessed that she has a new boyfriend — but she’s not ready to take things public just yet.

Cavallari then revealed, “He’s a retired athlete, I’ll tell you that.”

When Bunnie joked, “You love the athletes,” the reality star replied, “They love me, I think!”

Cavallari also said that the mystery man would be staying with her for a few days this week, which she admitted she was really looking forward to.

“We connect on so many different levels, it’s amazing,” she gushed.

Reflecting on her relationship with Estes, who is just 25, Cavallari said the 13-year age difference wasn’t the only challenge for the two, but also caused other problems in their dynamic.

“I think when you’re young and you don’t have any life experience and maybe there’s not much going on in your life, there’s not much to talk about,” she explained. “There’s not much you could bring with you.” . And so, yeah, I came out of there craving real depth and emotional intimacy.”

Still, Cavallari said she and the social media star have “a real connection” and insisted there is no bad blood between them.

“He’s a really good guy,” she shared. “It was a beautiful relationship. I have nothing bad to say. It was fun until it wasn’t.”

She added that “people forget that the last five years have been my dating era,” referring to the period following her divorce from Jay Cutler in 2020 after seven years of marriage.

“I always had friends – I met Jay when I was 23,” Cavallari said. “I’ve never been able to figure out exactly what I want and figure myself out through dating. And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing for the last five years, and I’ve really enjoyed it.”

“It was a distraction,” she continued. “It was really easy. It just somehow fit into my life. I said this on my podcast, but in hindsight it might be selfish, but I didn’t really have to bend to (Estes) in a lot of ways. He just somehow fit into my life.”

“Everyone gets along well,” an exclusive source told PEOPLE at the time.

Cavallari echoed that sentiment in an Oct. 1 episode of Her Let’s be honest Podcast: “He was the best friend I ever had. All I know is that he needs to experience life in the long term, he is young… With life experience, I started to feel the age a little. I look back when I was.” “24 and how much life has happened since then, those are crucial years, those are formative years where you find yourself and he has to be able to do that.”
