Now this Wicked: Part One In the cinema, Kristin Chenoweth shows off her trip to the film set with husband Josh Bryant.

On Monday, November 25, Chenoweth, 56, shared several photos from the Jon M. Chus production on Instagram Evil. The musical’s original Broadway stars, Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, played cameo roles as members of an Emerald City singing troupe who perform “One Short Day,” the story of the Wizard’s mythical arrival in Oz in the film.

In a carousel of images that also included photos with Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and Chenoweth’s friend and collaborator Mary-Mitchell Campbell, Chenoweth included two shots of herself with Bryant, the musician she married in September 2023.

The couple was photographed holding hands while looking out Evilcan be seen in one snap, and in the second-to-last photo of the carousel, they shared a kiss while Chenoweth was in full costume for her cameo.

“One short day 🥹🫧 the most magical time back in the Emerald City 💚🩷,” Chenoweth wrote in a caption alongside the photos. “Who saw @wickedmovie this weekend?!?”

Chenoweth and her husband, Bryant, began dating in 2018. They first met in 2016 when the musician’s band played at Chenoweth’s niece’s wedding, she told SiriusXM The Jess Cagle Show in 2021. Their paths later crossed at a second wedding where his band played, and on August 3, 2018, their official relationship began. “He remembers everything – he’s so great. “He’s a good guy and he’s a great musician,” she said at the time.

Bryant and Chenoweth got engaged in October 2021 and married on September 2, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. Among them, Kathy Najimy, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Kenny Ortega, Chely Wright, Ty Herndon, Jennifer Aspen and Broadway composer Andrew Lippa were prominent guests at the event.

“I’ve been a self-proclaimed bachelorette my whole life,” the actress tells PEOPLE about her marriage at the time. “I never planned to get married. I got engaged once before and couldn’t do it. Until I met Josh. Then I asked myself, ‘Why would I ever let this guy go?’ I’m so blessed.”
