Kylie Kelce reveals her political views after dumping Joe Rogan

True to the title of her new podcast: Kylie Kelce continues to prove that she is I won’t lie. Kelce, wife of retired Philadelphia Eagles star and future ESPN personality Jason KelceSister-in-law of the current star of the Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor Swift Friend Travis KelceShe caused a stir when the first episode of her new show dropped The Joe Rogan Experience from the top spot in the podcast charts that it had occupied for a long time.

In an interview with the New York Times Kelce admitted that the anger her success caused among Rogan’s fans has not gone unnoticed. “It gets me going,” she said, but insisted: “I don’t give a damn about the charts.” Another big revelation: her political views have “aggressively declined” and her dream podcast guest is none other than the former First lady Michelle Obama, who came up while discussing whether Kelce would consider interviewing politicians on the show. “I know she’s not running personally,” she said of Obama. “But I would love it if she did.” She also mentioned that she is a fan of Gov. Josh Shapirofrom her home state of Pennsylvania, for equipping public school bathrooms with free period products.

Kylie is now pregnant and has her fourth daughter, Jason. She’s not the only podcast host in her household. Jason is co-host of the popular show New heights with brother Travis, but Kylie not only differentiated her show in content, focusing more on “mom stuff” and sports topics that appeal more to casual fans and women’s sports enthusiasts in her words, but also in length. She has promised to limit episodes to 45 minutes or less and to “prioritize the schedule for busy women.”

“I’m focused on putting out content that people enjoy consuming,” she said of her quick success, citing another possible source of her appeal: “Maybe it’s the promise of not being lied to.”

And, unsurprisingly for a woman about to give birth to her fourth child, she is equally matter-of-fact about the thought that her ideas might upset people.

“I mean that in the most respectful way,” she said. “I don’t care what other people have to say.”
