Matchday 15 of the 2024-25 La Liga season continued on Sunday with four more games across Spain: Real Madrid hosted Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu, Villarreal met Getafe, Athletic Club traveled to Rayo Vallecano, while Real Sociedad played a direct duel between Real Sociedad and Getafe completed with Real Betis in the Reale Arena.

Villarreal 2-2 Getafe

An exciting game took place at La Ceramica as Girona came from 2-0 down to draw against Villarreal. Thierno Barry and Alex Baena put the hosts in a commanding position, but second-half goals from Donny van de Beek and Ladislav Krejci, whose strike came in the 97th minute, took their share of the spoils.

Rayo Vallecano 1-2 Athletic Club

There was another stunning comeback in Vallecas, where Athletic Club came from behind to beat Rayo Vallecano. Randy Nteka had given the hosts the lead at half-time, but substitute Oihan Sancet scored an excellent brace to secure an important three points for Ernesto Valverde’s side.

Real Sociedad 2-0 Real Betis

In the late kick-off, Real Sociedad secured a commendable win against injury-plagued Real Betis. The difference between the two teams was two goals in the first half, which came from Diego Llorente (OG) and Mikel Oyarzabal, who scored from the penalty spot.
