Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin is posting strange things on social media about the 2024 College Football Playoff, mostly sulking about his team being left out of the final 12-team field.

After Kiffin complained about the first-round results as “proof” that his team got a job, the Ole Miss coach decided to back Penn State, of all teams, on Tuesday night.

In the Nittany Lions’ quarterfinal game against Boise State, you wouldn’t expect Kiffin to play on a sideline, but for some bizarre reason he did anyway.

Is this some sort of blatant insult to Boise State, which earned an automatic berth in the College Football Playoff after winning the Mountain West?

Is he just trying to support former Vanderbilt coach James Franklin? Is he suddenly really into Penn State football?

We have no idea, but please stop being weird about all this, Lane Kiffin. You lost to Kentucky And Florida this year. Give yourself a break!
