With no Anthony Davis against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, LeBron James suited up for the Los Angeles Lakers.

In his second game as a 40-year-old, James looked more like the younger version of himself that has been an MVP candidate year after year. The star had 27 points early in the fourth quarter, leading the Lakers, who are looking to pick up six wins in their last eight games.

James was particularly hot from deep, scoring six of his first eight attempts en route to the big scoring night. If the Lakers want to compete for a championship this year, he will need to continue to find his long-range shot.
