LeBron James gave his son Bronny such an encouraging message during his G League stint

LeBron James missed some time on the court last week with a foot injury, which gave him some time to watch his son Bronny compete with the South Bay Lakers in the G League.

The younger James was assigned to the G League in early November after four appearances in the NBA. It could have easily prevented James from doing well after retiring from the NBA, but it doesn’t seem to bother him on the court.

The Los Angeles Lakers star could be one of the reasons his son has held his head high this season. The elder James told it The athleteIt’s what Jovan Buha has told his son throughout his G League experience to continue to encourage him.

“Just keep mowing the days, keep putting in the work,” James said. “At the end of the day, work always comes first. It’s just great to see him get back into the flow, get back to his game, get back to himself, just play freely and go out and just play the game that he loves and knows how to play. I loved his aggressiveness.”

Something seems to be off with Bronny James as he has scored a total of 62 points in the team’s last three games. He scored a career-high 30 points in a recent G League game.

He still appears here and there for the Lakers, most recently on December 8th against the Portland Trail Blazers. The rookie hasn’t seen too much NBA action yet, as he averages about three minutes per game.
