LeBron James’ latest injury status for the Lakers-Kings

The Sacramento Kings have had to find their rhythm from a few seasons ago as they continue to slide further down the Western Conference standings and out of the playoffs. Even though there is still a lot of basketball left to play this season, if they continue to lose games it will be difficult to get back up.

The Kings face a big test on Thursday night when they host the star-studded Los Angeles Lakers. The Kings are looking to bounce back from Monday’s heartbreaking loss to the Denver Nuggets, and a win over the Hollywood team would be a significant confidence boost.

Sacramento has been a bit banged up this week as Domantas Sabonis, Keegan Murray, Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles are all injured ahead of Thursday’s match. Luckily for the Kings, Sabonis, Murray and Huerter are all ready to go. but Lyles will continue to be left out.

The Lakers are also in turmoil, with their superstar duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis both out for Thursday’s game in Sacramento due to injuries. James was given questionable status, but has since been upgraded to probable, joining Davis.

With the star duo expected to compete on Thursday, the Kings will certainly have their hands full keeping the All-NBA players at bay.

The Kings have already lost to the Lakers once this season, with James and Davis combining for 63 points. Sacramento defeated LA in each of their four meetings last season and will look to regain that dominance on Thursday.

The Kings and Lakers kick off in Sacramento on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT.
