LiAngelo Ball somehow landed Tweaker an $8 million record deal

By now you’ve probably heard LiAngelo Ball’s hit song “Tweaker” more than a few times. For some of you it could be much more.

However, you may have to get used to hearing songs from LiAngelo, Charlotte’s older brother, LaMelo Ball’s guard, and Chicago Bulls’ younger brother, Lonzo Ball’s guard, much more often.

WHOA-OH! The Tweaker memes are so good!

Following the massive success of “Tweaker” last week, Gelo has reportedly signed a major deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, his Born2Ball Music Group label is now part of the larger labels.

According to Charania, Ball will receive $8 million guaranteed and could earn up to $13 million from the deal.

The former high school basketball star retains “full ownership” of his music and record label.

This is fantastic and exciting news for LiAngelo and his family. The song is quite good, although even the biggest fans would probably agree that it’s successful mostly because of the 10-second period where, more than anything else, he sings “I might swerve, bend the corner, whoah-oh-oh.” ” sings.

As catchy as it may feel, it’s unclear whether or not Gelo can repeat this success on future tracks. If he can, this is a smart investment for Def Jam and UMG.

However, if not, it could become a very expensive risk in the long term.
