Lily Phillips: The middle-class student who turned away from a privileged upbringing and “good working-class parents” to achieve international fame with tacky stunts

Lily Phillips: The middle-class student who turned away from a privileged upbringing and “good working-class parents” to achieve international fame with tacky stunts

As a schoolgirl who came from middle-class parents and grew up in a picturesque Derbyshire village, Lily Phillips dreamed of one day owning a wedding dress boutique like her aunt.

She was a seemingly conventional child who enjoyed watching SpongeBob SquarePants at home and playing netball with her friends after school.

She grew up in a wealthy home and enjoyed all the benefits her hard-working parents could offer – two vacations a year, private lessons for the children if they wanted them, luxury cars on the driveway of their spacious four-bedroom home.

Her father, Lindsay, 59, started life as a cleaner but started his own cleaning business when Lily was ten, which brought him such financial benefits.

But despite these privileges and opportunities, Lily’s life has taken a completely different course than what her family had planned for her: This week, Liiy found international fame as a pornographic model who had sex with 100 men in 24 hours.

And if that wasn’t cheesy enough, she even bragged that she plans to break the “world record” next month and have sex with 1,000 people in the same period. And she has reportedly earned £2million after building an audience of 36,000 paying subscribers on the dodgy platform OnlyFans with her controversial films.

So how did she make this strange and, for many, disturbing transformation from an ordinary girl to a notorious figure?

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, she said: “I didn’t join OnlyFans because I was desperate for money. “My parents loved to spoil us, I had a very comfortable and happy life. “It was a picture-perfect childhood and I had great parents.”

Her early life stands in stark contrast to the world she now finds herself in and the fame she has achieved.

She grew up in a stylish semi-detached house in the village of Denby, Derbyshire, set among rolling hills and just a stone’s throw from the world-famous Denby pottery factory.

Every year the family set off on a ski holiday in the winter, followed by a luxurious summer holiday, with Lily describing her upbringing as “perfect”.

Other luxury features included an Audi TT and a Porsche 911, which Lindsay drove while her mother Emma, who worked as a real estate agent, drove around in a Range Rover.

She was taken in the expensive vehicles to a local climbing center and sports clubs where she played netball and cricket.

The family have since moved out of the house where Lily grew up, but a former neighbor told MailOnline: “They were a nice family, very friendly and hard-working.” You could tell they had a bit of money because they had fancy ones Cars on the way and happy holidays, but they didn’t think much about it.

“Lindsay was just a well-made working class man and we were all happy for him. “He had a strong work ethic and earned good money.”

Lily’s older brother attended a private school and she was also given the opportunity to attend a top private education, but she declined.

She said: “I always thought private school kids were a bit strange. “And I wasn’t that smart and thought I’d be bottom of the class, so I told my parents I didn’t want to go.”

Lily attended the local John Flamsteed Community School, where she gained five GCSEs and was described as a popular girl who had a close circle of friends.

A former pupil said: “Lily had a nice, comfortable life and was a great girl and some of us were very jealous of her.” She was funny, had lots of friends and didn’t worry about money because her parents were rich.

“Her work on OnlyFans has shocked many of us because we don’t understand why she does it.”

After I left school and went to Sheffield University to study nutrition science, things took a dramatic turn.

She admits that she started sleeping around, which led her to start her OnlyFans feed in 2020 when she couldn’t attend lectures due to the pandemic.

She earned £2,000 in the first month, which left her wanting more.

She said: “I was sort of selling sex to boys on my nights out without making any money, so I thought I might as well charge for it.”

She added: “I was at university and was already such a ‘sluzza’ so I thought why not give OnlyFans a try and make some money on the side?”

Lily said: “I don’t know why, but I was obsessed with sex from a young age.” “I was always more into sex than my friends and always talked about it at school.”

Lily’s parents have chosen not to comment publicly on their daughter’s work, but her mother is responsible for managing her finances and helping build a real estate portfolio with her considerable income, which is reportedly worth six figures a month.

Lily currently lives in an exclusive area of west London, has already bought a house in Derby and said she is currently looking for properties worth around £1.5 million.

Last year Lindsay sold his cleaning business and is spending his retirement with his wife traveling the world and living in a motorhome in the Derbyshire countryside.

But while they have remained coy about their daughter, Lily suggested on a recent podcast that her mother was responsible for her obsession with sex at such a young age, and made other comments about her sexual practices too explicit to report.

Lily also admitted to MailOnline that despite her “picture-perfect” childhood, she developed a certain fascination with sex as a young teenager and saw her first porn film at the age of 13.

She said: “I don’t know why, but I was obsessed with sex from a young age.” “I was always more into sex than my friends and always talked about it at school.”

Despite the criticism, Lily insists she feels “empowered” and “happy.”

She said: “Honestly, it changed my life.” How I feel about myself, my confidence. I am a 23 year old woman who pays my own rent and makes good money. “I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved – I’m 100 percent feminist.”

After Lily had sex with 100 men in October, she burst into tears while filming the YouTube documentary “I Slept With 100 Men in One Day,” which went viral.
