Lions fans are not happy with the CBS broadcast or Tony Romo

The Lions aren’t on CBS very often. During Sunday’s much-hyped showdown against the Buffalo Bills, most Detroit fans figured out that’s probably a good thing.

The CBS broadcast, led by Jim Nantz and Tony Romo, did not have a good first half at Ford Field.

No matter if it was a commercial edit that didn’t mention injured players – twice! – or whether Romo continued babbling incomprehensible babble during the game, it felt very amateurish for CBS’ supposed top team.

A particularly sticky point was Romo’s sly delivery and his seeming inattention to contributing anything substantive to the conversation. Many Lions fans and pundits had criticism of both Romo and CBS’ overall broadcast in this case.
