Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

It’s officially the happiest holiday on the calendar when we get together with loved ones, enjoy delicious food and – of course – watch our Detroit Lions compete at Ford Field.

This year, the Chicago Bears are in tow and looking to get out of the slump. They have lost five straight, including a pair of heartbreaking games against other NFC North opponents. Last week they lost in overtime to the Minnesota Vikings. The previous week, a blocked field goal at the end of regulation prevented their first win over the Packers since 2018.

Will they finally make a breakthrough this week or will the emotional disappointments take their toll?

Or…does it not matter because the Lions are 10-1, have won nine games in a row and look like the best team in football?

We’re about to find out. Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. ET and the game will be nationally televised on CBS.

If you want to spend your Thanksgiving with the Pride of Detroit family, stay here during game time. Scroll down to the comments section and join the live chat once kickoff is underway. Share your thoughts, analysis, emotions or your favorite GIFs.

Then, as the game enters halftime, return to the site’s home page and look for the second half live chat article. The conversation will continue there in the last two quarters.

But until then, relax, finish all your food preparations, and wish each other a happy Thanksgiving.
