SPRINGDALE, Ark. – Despite widespread melting across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, some local schools are opting to close or operate virtually on Jan. 13 due to continued snow on roads that have not been cleared and the possibility of it froze over again overnight.

Below is a list of districts that have already announced they will remain closed or virtual on Monday:

Lamar School District – Closed Monday

Waldron School District – Closed Monday

Clarksville School District – Closed Monday

Magazine School District – Closed Monday

Paris School District – Closed Monday

Charleston School District – Closed Monday

Ozark School District – Closed Monday

Howe School District – virtual on Monday

Scranton School District – Closed Monday

County Line School District – Closed Monday

Subiaco Academy – Closed Monday

Other schools in the area have announced they will be open, but some bus routes may be affected or changed.
