“I think it was a huge setback for New York and the New York court system,” he said.

Trump is now targeting a former deputy district attorney who resigned before his indictment was filed.

He accuses the accountants of recording the hush payment to Stormy Daniels as legal costs.

“It’s actually unbelievable,” Trump says of his actions that led to his indictment, arguing that he was correct in describing Cohen’s payments as legal fees.

Trump says this was a case Alvin Bragg didn’t want to make while the prosecutor stared blankly ahead, watching the feed.

“It’s an injustice of justice,” Trump said of the case, citing a number of legal experts who have criticized the case.

“It was a political witch hunt, it damaged my reputation so I would lose the election,” Trump says, boasting that he got more votes than any other Republican and won all seven swing states.

Judge Merchan watches Trump calmly, his hand on his chin as he speaks.
