Liverpool vs Accrington Stanley | FA Cup

Liverpool have not had the best results in their last two games over the past few days – a defeat against Tottenham in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final and a draw against Manchester United at home in the Premier League.

Hoping to overcome their recent problems, the Reds host Accrington Stanley, currently 19th in League Two, at Anfield on Saturday at 12:15pm (BST).

Head coach Arne Slot revealed that Jarell Quansah’s substitution in the Carabao Cup game was due to illness, but the England centre-back will be available for the FA Cup game.

In addition to Quansah, Dominik Szoboszlai is also available for the FA Cup game after his recent illness. The Hungarian did not feature in Liverpool’s last two games and his presence was missed.

Liverpool have two consecutive away games in the Premier League after Accrington Stanley against Nottingham Forest and Brentford.

While Joe Gomez is the only member of the senior team out through injury, Slot faces a difficult decision as to how strong he will be in the FA Cup third round.
