Louisville volleyball will play in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament today for the sixth straight year.

The top-seeded Cardinals (27-5) face fourth-seeded Purdue (27-6) tonight at Freedom Hall, 30 minutes after the end of the game between sixth-seeded Florida and second-seeded Stanford.

The Cardinals enter the game after winning a five-set thriller against Northern Iowa. They won the fifth set 22-20, which was the highest fifth set score in program history.

The Boilermakers defeated their first two opponents in the tournament: Western Michigan and Loyola Chicago.
