Luke Combs helped country music fans ring in the new year with a bang with a stunning performance of “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma.” Nashville’s Big Bash. However, that wasn’t his only contribution to New Year’s Eve. Combs also shared a snippet of an unreleased song on social media, hinting that he will be releasing new songs in the coming months.

Combs has some great love songs and discography and it looks like he’s ready to add another to the list. Yesterday (December 31), hours before taking the stage during the New Year’s Eve celebration, the “Hurricane” singer shared a worktape of a new track titled “More Less Than Perfect.” In the caption, he asked his fans: “Who should I duet this with?”

Although he didn’t credit the song’s writing credits, “More Less Than Perfect” firmly cements Combs as a songwriter and performer. Lyrically it’s about a man who is a bit rough and feels like he doesn’t deserve the love of the woman he’s with.
