The debate over visas for highly skilled workers that has been going on in the MAGA world in recent days shows no sign of abating. Some prominent online personalities are now accusing Elon Musk of using his social media platform X to retaliate against those who disagree with his support of the H-1B visa program.

Musk, who was tapped to lead President-elect Donald Trump’s government efficiency department, has clashed with Trump supporters over H-1B visas. While Trump has targeted the visas, Musk – the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX – has defended the program, arguing that tech companies need foreign workers to compete.

“If you want your TEAM to win the championship, recruiting top talent wherever they may be,” Musk wrote, is “essential to America continuing to win.”

But loyal Trump supporters like far-right activist Laura Loomer, conservative pundit Ann Coulter and former Rep. Matt Gaetz have blasted Musk and his new Department of Government Efficiency co-chair Vivek Ramaswamy for their pro-H-1B visa stance criticized.

Musk, in turn, stripped Loomer and other members of the right-wing conservative PAC of their verification credentials, members of the PAC said.

Loomer, a far-right provocateur and vocal Trump supporter, claimed Thursday that Musk removed her verified status on X and blocked her ability to attract paying subscribers because of her opposition to the H-1B program.

Musk, she wrote, “is a fraud on free speech.”

CNN has reached out to Loomer and X for comment.

Loomer has more than 1.4 million followers on X. It is unknown how much money Loomer made from the paid subscription service on the platform.

Before she lost her verified ID, Musk posted, “Loomer trolling for attention.”

Preston Parra, the chairman of the conservative PAC, told CNN that about 53 accounts associated with his organization lost their verified IDs, including Loomer.

“If anyone believes for one minute that the REAL backbone of the right wing and MAGA would stand by while these big tech billionaire idiots from Silicon Valley who weren’t bullied enough in high school steal our country, then they are wrong,” Parra said in a statement.

The conservative PAC also posted on
