Mark Wahlberg “keeps it real.”

On Thursday, January 2, the 53-year-old actor rang in the new year by sharing behind-the-scenes details about what it took to get into the role in his latest film Flight risk.

“Check out @flightriskmovie 🥸🔥🎥🎬 keep it real🥸 no bald head🥸🥸 NO GAP🔥,” he captioned an Instagram reel of himself getting his head shaved by a stylist.

“F— are you looking at yourself?” He teased in the clip while sitting in a salon chair. Elsewhere in the video, he added: “It will come back.”

Fans in his comments section appreciated the look and added jokes of their own.

“More like Mark Baldberg,” one person wrote. Another added: “Should be your new profile picture😂.”

Wahlberg first shared shots of his bald appearance in an Instagram post on July 3, 2024.

“No bald for me😎😂 we’re going all out,” he captioned the upload, which showed him posing next to the stylist who made his look possible.
