Mark Withers dead: “Dynasty” actor was 77 years old

Mark Withers, a television actor known for portraying Ted Dinard in the original series “Dynasty,” died on November 22nd. He was 77 years old.

Mark Withers’ death was confirmed by his daughter Jessie Withers. The cause was pancreatic cancer.

Long before he had a SAG card or starred in shows, he was an accomplished athlete who earned an NCAA football scholarship to Penn State University.

He began his acting career by starring in a national campaign for McDonald’s after being discovered by an agent. He went on to star in national commercials for major brands such as Folger’s Coffee, Irish Spring, Tartar Control Crest and American Airlines.
