In an ever-increasing platform-independent world, crossplay is essential in games like Marvel Rivals is more of an expectation than a feature. Even if your gaming friends switch paths from console to PC or switch to another console, there’s usually a way to play together.

Luckily, Marvel Games’ new hero shooter makes crossplay easy, so you can play with your friends no matter what platform they’re on. This is how everything works.

How to use crossplay in Marvel Rivals

To add a friend Marvel RivalsRegardless of what platform you’re playing on, the process is the same: navigate to the small icon with two silhouettes in the top right corner of the screen. Enter the nickname of the friend you want to add. Your nickname is the one you chose when you first loaded the game. Of course, you have your own nickname, which you chose yourself when starting the game. You can check a nickname at any time by looking at the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen. No settings need to be changed. Crossplay is easy to use right from the start!

However, there is a limitation with this system: No crossplay between consoles and PC in competitive play. This is something different feature, that Marvel Rivals decreases Overwatch. The logic is sound: keep the players on the mouse and keyboard and the players on the controller separate. However, it’s a little frustrating that players can’t even choose to take on that extra challenge to match up with friends.

Does Marvel Rivals Do you have cross progression?

While the Developers have confirmed Although they are working on implementing cross-progression, unfortunately the feature is not yet in the game at launch.
