FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas will complete its current four-game homestand by hosting UMES on Monday (Nov. 24) at Bud Walton Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network Plus.

After Monday, four of the next five Razorback games will be on the road at Bud Walton Arena. First, Arkansas will face Illinois on November 28th in Kansas City and then travel to Miami on December 3rd to face the Hurricanes in the SEC/ACC Challenge. After hosting UTSA on December 7th, Arkansas travels to New York City to play Michigan in the Jimmy V Classic (December 10th) and then makes its annual trip to North Little Rock on December 14th for a game against Central Arkansas .

NOTES:

  • This will be the second meeting ever between Arkansas and Maryland Eastern Shore.
  • The Razorbacks won their only other meeting on January 1, 2001, 100-40.
    ^ Seven Razorbacks scored in double figures, with Joe Johnson and Jannero Pargo leading the way with 14 points each.
    ^ Arkansas shot an incredible 60% from the field. The Hogs had 21 assists on 36 made baskets, including six assists each from TJ Cleveland and Brandon Dean.
    ^ UMES committed 42 turnovers (two fewer than the most turnovers by an Arkansas opponent) while the Hogs had 24 steals. TJ Cleveland was responsible for seven of the Razorback steals.
    ^ NOTE: The 24 steals are two shy of the UA record and Arkansas has not had at least 24 steals since that UMES game.
  • Arkansas scored first against Pacific and Little Rock and held the lead the rest of the game in both cases.
    ^ Arkansas trailed Troy at halftime and tied the game 32-32 with 16:59 left. Then Johnell Davis had a fastbreak layup to give Arkansas a 2-point lead with 16:27 left.
    ^ Since taking a 2-point lead in the second half against Troy, Arkansas has led 89-45 of the last 91-50 games played.
    ^ At the start of the Pacific game, the first points were scored 58 seconds into the game and the first points in the Little Rock game came at 1:07, for a total game time of 2:05, which was tied 0-0.
