MCU fans are already in love with our new “Nick Fury” – Marvel

Step aside, Nick Fury. You have competition.

Since the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Nick Fury has proven to be a steadfast leader of the Avengers.

Admittedly, yes, the Kree-Skrull conflict has kept him a little more occupied in recent years, but without Fury, the Avengers wouldn’t be what they are.

But a new leader will soon make his mark.

Don’t worry. This leader will not take over the Avengers, or at least the “old” cohort.

Kamala Khan is preparing to lead the Young Avengers, which was just hinted at by a Marvel exec.

Kamala or Ms. Marvel’s building of the Young Avengers doesn’t exactly come as a shock to us if you’ve followed the MCU’s various releases.

In the end The miraclesFor example, Kamala was seen recruiting Kate Bishop.

And it doesn’t seem to be a coincidence that the MCU regularly introduces well-known Young Avengers members from the comics.

Wiccan, Cassie Lang and America Chavez are all present in the MCU and ready to be recruited just like their comic book counterparts.

This is no longer the only evidence we have that the Young Avengers are on the move.

ICYMI: Captain America: Brave New World lands in February 2025.

Marvel Television boss Brad Winderbaum hinted at Kamala’s future in the MCU in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“I love Iman. She is incredible. I love this character. I will tell you that for me she is certainly a big part of the MCU,” Winderbaum began.

Ms. Marvel is a really important show for us and without going into too much detail because I don’t want to give anything away, it’s top of mind. So it will be exciting to see where she shows up next.”

This makes me extremely happy because Kamala is clearly one of my favorite Marvel characters.

Of course, Winderbaum doesn’t mention the Young Avengers by name, but given what’s already happening in the MCU and his shyness, that’s practically a given.
