Mega Millions jackpot lottery numbers: Did you win?

The tenth largest Mega Millions jackpot in history is up for grabs.

The jackpot is an estimated $579 million, including a $276.6 million cash option for the next drawing.

The top prize has increased since it was last won in Texas in September to the tune of $810 million, lottery officials said.

Interestingly, a $1.128 billion prize was won in New Jersey on March 26, 2024, but no one has hit the jackpot yet. Lottery officials said that if the ticket is not claimed by March 26, 2025, the ticket will be forfeited and “the unpaid prize will revert to the applicable Mega Millions jurisdiction.”

Here’s what you should know about the current Mega Millions:

Did anyone win the Mega Millions last night?

No ticket matched all six numbers drawn on Tuesday evening. The white balls were numbered 52, 60, 61, 66 and 67 and the gold mega ball was number 23.

However, lottery officials said there were several other non-jackpot winners in the drawing.

Three tickets matched the five white balls to win the game’s $1 million — two were sold in Ohio and one in Wisconsin, lottery officials said.

There were 18 tickets available nationwide with four white balls and the Mega Ball to win the third prize of $10,000 each. Five of them were actually worth $40,000 each because they also included the optional Megaplier, which cost 4X on Tuesday night.

In total, there were 948,575 winning tickets at all prize levels, officials said.

When is the next Mega Millions drawing?

Drawings take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 p.m. ET in Atlanta, Georgia.

The next drawing will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Mega Millions jackpot lottery: How to play

Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tickets are currently $2 each, and most territories allow players to add the Megaplier for an additional $1 to multiply their non-jackpot prizes. However, the price of a ticket will more than double to $5 starting in April 2025, with lottery officials promising bigger prizes and more winners.

The overall odds of winning a Mega Millions prize are 1 in 24, according to lottery officials — and the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
