Meghan Markle suffers career decline as Netflix insider makes her stance clear: ‘It’s not worth it’

A Netflix insider has slammed Meghan Markle over her upcoming cooking show, saying: “It’s so much work with her.”

The harsh assessment comes as the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex prepares to launch a new Netflix program tied to her American Riviera Orchard (ARO) brand.

According to The Mail, the show, which is said to focus on cooking, hosting and friendship, has already raised concerns among Netflix executives.

The insider’s blunt criticism follows a series of setbacks for the Sussexes’ Netflix projects.

The insider further addressed her concerns, telling the publication, “Frankly, the ‘delivery’ doesn’t seem worth it.”

The cooking show is expected to align with Meghan’s new project American Riviera Orchard, although launch dates for both projects are still unconfirmed.

The aim of the program is to highlight the Duchess’s interests in cooking, entertaining and building friendships.

These developments come as fans continue to wait for products from Meghan’s brand ARO, which has yet to release any items.

The Sussexes’ latest Netflix project, a series titled “Polo,” released on December 10, failed to make much of an impression on viewers.

The documentary, in which only Prince Harry and Meghan were seen in the last episode, offers a look behind the scenes of top-class sport.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams described the series as “boring”.

The criticism of Polo marks another difficult period for the couple’s Netflix production, which comes just weeks before Christmas festivities at their Montecito estate with children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The future of the Sussexes’ Netflix contract, which is due to end in 2025, appears increasingly uncertain.

A Hollywood executive believes Meghan’s upcoming cooking show needs to be “a huge hit” to protect both the Netflix partnership and her reputation.

The pressure to deliver a successful program comes at a crucial time for the pair’s streaming deal.

Given the lukewarm response to their recent projects, the stakes are particularly high.

After Polo’s disappointing performance, a Netflix insider suggested that Meghan’s cooking show “may not see the light of day.”

The revelation adds to growing concerns about the future of the Sussexes’ Netflix projects.

The uncertainty comes as the couple prepares to spend Christmas with their children and likely Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland at their home in Montecito.

They reportedly did not receive an invitation to the royal family’s Christmas gathering at Sandringham, where 45 family members are expected.

The pressure continues to mount for the couple to deliver successful content before their Netflix contract expires.
